Basically basic.

Just a favorite tee and some jeans. Sometimes a girl's gotta take it back to the basics.
Basic but chic. Never sloppy.


Oh, and also formally introducing the new 'do. I had it redone after this post by Lien at Union Salon in Pasadena. She's amazing! She has the equivalent of a Master's degree in hair styling with all the experience and education she's had. She just recently worked on a photo shoot for Nylon magazine. If you're near Pasadena and are looking to change things up for spring and summer. She is your girl. Seriously.

Tee: F21 (Twelve by Twelve), jeans: Levi's, belt: F21, wedges: Qupid Ophelia 10--a wonderfully budget conscious alternative to the Tory Burch Victor perforated wedge.

    ooh, love the do. i'm considering it! we definitely have to bring it back to the basics once in a while. we had clients in town this week, so after (sort of) dressing up this week, it was jeans for me today, too!

    Oh, your hair looks great- loving the ombre.
    The shots have great lighting and there is nothing wrong with the basics. I like that you accessorized it with the gold jewelry and black wedges.

    Yes! I love that you went the shirt-and-jeans route. People are afraid to, sometimes, but it's a great look. Your hair looks quite lovely, too. If I were anywhere near Pasadena (and if I regularly got my hair done) I'd be so tempted.

    The plants behind you are also quite stunning--great job picking your backdrop. Also, last thought, I love your shoes!
